In 2024, LUYA was appointed to generate buzz and media coverage for Warwick Castle’s Christmas Light Trail, one of the UK’s most anticipated festive attractions.

The Brief

The objective was to raise awareness, drive ticket sales and increase footfall through a comprehensive PR and influencer campaign spanning local, regional and national media, as well as social channels.

Our remit included:

  • Hosting a press and influencer launch night to showcase the Light Trail to key journalists and creators.
  • Running an influencer gifting campaign with regional creators to extend social reach.
  • Securing coverage across local, regional and national press, both in print and online
  • Positioning Warwick Castle as a must-visit Christmas experience in the West Midlands

The Strategy

LUYA implemented a multi-channel approach combining traditional media, influencer engagement and experiential PR. The campaign focused on:

  • Targeted media relations to secure features in lifestyle, travel and regional publications
  • Curated influencer collaborations to create authentic, engaging social content.
  • Event management, including a press and influencer night capturing high-quality content and showcasing the festive experience.
  • Digital amplification, sharing assets across Warwick Castle and influencer channels to generate anticipation and excitement.

Coverage featured prominent national and regional outlets, including:

The press and influencer launch night attracted a carefully curated guest list, generating authentic social content and high-quality imagery. The influencer gifting campaign amplified the Light Trail’s visibility, creating excitement ahead of the launch and driving ticket sales.
