The Manor at Greasby is the fifth venture by award-winning, family-run hospitality group, Nelson Hotels & Inns, which opened in March 2023. Known for their acclaimed collection of hotels, inns and restaurants across Cheshire and the surrounding areas, The Manor is the group’s first step onto the Wirral.

Located in the Merseyside village of Greasby, The Manor is a 17th century building with Grade II listed status, which has been lovingly restored as a stylish restaurant, with an adjoining luxury wedding barn. Serving an elevated gastropub-style menu, including 30-day aged steaks, wood-fired pizzas and Asian inspired dishes, The Manor has already become a go-to Wirral hotspot for all-day dining.

The brief

LUYA was tasked with promoting The Manor at Greasby’s opening. From initial announcements to menu first-looks, we made sure the Wirral and beyond had this venue on their radar.

Our Solutions

Following the announcement of Nelson Hotels & Inns’ plans to restore The Manor into a brand-new venue, we hit the ground running with regional, national and trade press.

We undertook team profiling, covering hospitality, weddings and even the wider group’s senior staff members. We also provided press with regular renovation updates, interior design teasers and exclusive first-looks, from The Caterer to the Liverpool Echo.

To celebrate the highly anticipated launch, we planned a large-scale opening event for local businesses, dignitaries and regional press to have a first glimpse of The Manor – with over 300 people in attendance.

Overall, we achieved 158 pieces of coverage with a total audience of over 5billion and 6.2million estimated views. Post-opening, we also invited influencers to try the restaurant for themselves, which saw a further 160K in social reach.
