Danish homewares brand Søstrene Grene is renowned for its minimalist Scandinavian designs, offering homewares, furniture, kitchen essentials, decorations, gifts, hobby crafts and toys.
With a focus on creativity, joy and hygge, a special state of contentment, warmth and belonging, the brand aims to enrich everyday life.
Appointed as Søstrene Grene’s UK PR agency in 2023, our brief was to support the brand’s ambitious expansion by generating buzz for each new store, driving footfall, and securing coverage across both regional, national, and trade media. We were tasked with building local awareness, while positioning the brand as a leading name in the UK homewares market.
Since our first UK launch, we have delivered more than 40 store openings across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, including the flagship store on Argyll Street, London in March 2025. We have managed up to three launches in a single day across multiple regions, drawing hundreds of customers and creating standout media moments through influencer activity, first-looks and interviews.
On a regional level, our campaigns have consistently generated local buzz around each new store, turning openings into highly anticipated events. Nationally, we have secured coverage in leading outlets such as Financial Times, Sky News, BBC Radio 4, The Times, The Guardian and top lifestyle publications, strengthening awareness and establishing Søstrene Grene as a must-visit brand for Scandinavian-inspired homewares across the UK.
By working closely with the brand on every store launch and national campaign, we have developed a proven approach that drives awareness, footfall and engagement. With further store openings planned, Søstrene Grene is well on track to reach 100 UK stores by 2027, establishing its presence as a leading homewares destination.
